O my God ^H430, I call ^H7121 by day ^H3119, but You do not answer ^H6030;

And by night ^H3915, but [fn]I have no ^H3808 rest ^H1747.

Yet You are holy ^H6918,

[fn]Enthroned ^H3427 upon the praises ^H8416 of Israel ^H3478.

In You our fathers ^H1 trusted ^H982;

They trusted ^H982 and You rescued ^H6403 them.

To You they cried ^H2199 out ^H2199 and were granted escape ^H4422;

In You they trusted ^H982 and were ^H954 not [fn]disappointed ^H954.

But I am a worm ^H8439 and not a man ^H376,

A reproach ^H2781 of men ^H120 and despised ^H959 by the people ^H5971.

All ^H3605 who see ^H7200 me mock ^H3932 me;
