A Song of Ascents.

When Yahweh^H3068 [fn]returned^H7725 [fn]the captive^H7622 ones of Zion^H6726,

We were like those who dream^H2492.

Then^H227 our mouth^H6310 was filled^H4390 with laughter^H7814

And our tongue^H3956 with shouts^H7440 of^H7440 joy^H7440;

Then^H227 they said^H559 among the nations^H1471,

“Yahweh^H3068 has done^H6213 great^H1431 things^H1431 for them.”

Yahweh^H3068 has done^H6213 great^H1431 things^H1431 for us;

We are glad^H8056.

Restore^H7725 our captivity^H7622, O Yahweh^H3068,

As the [fn]streams^H650 in the Negev^H5045.

Those who sow^H2232 in tears^H1832 shall reap^H7114 with shouts^H7440 of^H7440 joy^H7440.

He who goes^H1980 to^H1980 and^H1980 fro^H1980 weeping^H1058, carrying^H5375 his bag^H4901 of seed^H2233,

Shall indeed^H935 come^H935 again with a shout^H7440 of^H7440 joy^H7440, carrying^H5375 his sheaves^H485 with him.
