Do All Which Jesus Commands

(Mat 18:6, 7; Mar 9:42 )

Now He said^G3004 to His disciples^G3101, “It is [fn]inevitable^G418^G3361 that [fn]stumbling^G4625 blocks^G4625 come^G2064, but woe^G3759 to him through^G1223 whom^G3739 they come^G2064!

Luk 17:2

Luk 17:2“It [fn]would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Luk 17:3

Luk 17:3“[fn]Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

Luk 17:4

Luk 17:4“And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ [fn]forgive him.”

Luk 17:5

And the apostles^G652 said^G3004 to the Lord^G2962, “Increase^G4369 our faith^G4102!”

Luk 17:6

Luk 17:6And the Lord said, “If you have faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would [fn]obey you.

Luk 17:7

“But which^G5101 of you, having^G2192 a slave^G1401 plowing^G722 or^G2228 tending^G4165 sheep^G4165, will say^G3004 to him when he has come^G1525 in^G1525 from the field^G68, ‘Come^G3928 immediately^G2112 and [fn]sit^G377 down^G377 to eat’?

Luk 17:8

Luk 17:8“But will he not say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and, [fn]clothing yourself properly, serve me while I eat and drink; and [fn]afterward you [fn]may eat and drink’?

Luk 17:9

Luk 17:9“Is he grateful to the slave because he did the things which were commanded?

Luk 17:10

Luk 17:10“In this way, you also, when you do all the things which are commanded of you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’”

Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers

Luk 17:11

And^G2532 it happened^G1096 that while^G1722 He was^G4198 on^G4198 the way^G4198 to Jerusalem^G2419, He was passing^G1330 through^G1223^G3319 Samaria^G4540 and Galilee^G1056.

Luk 17:12

Luk 17:12And as He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him.

Luk 17:13

Luk 17:13And they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

Luk 17:14

Luk 17:14When He saw them, He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And it happened that as they were going, they were cleansed.

Luk 17:15

Luk 17:15Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,

Luk 17:16

Luk 17:16and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.

Luk 17:17

Luk 17:17Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they?

Luk 17:18

Luk 17:18“[fn]Was there no one found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”

Luk 17:19

Luk 17:19And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has [fn]saved you.”

Luk 17:20

Now^G1161 having been questioned^G1905 by the Pharisees^G5330 as to when^G4219 the kingdom^G932 of God^G2316 was coming^G2064, He answered^G611 them and said^G3004, “The kingdom^G932 of God^G2316 is not coming^G2064 with [fn]signs to be observed^G3907,

Luk 17:21

Luk 17:21nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘There!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

The Coming of the Son of Man

Luk 17:22

And He said^G3004 to the disciples^G3101, “The days^G2250 will come^G2064 when^G3753 you will long^G1937 to see^G3708 one^G1520 of the days^G2250 of the Son^G5207 of Man^G444, and you will not see^G3708 it.

Luk 17:23

Luk 17:23“And they will say to you, ‘Look there! Look here!’ Do not go away, and do not run after them.

Luk 17:24

Luk 17:24“For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part [fn]of the sky, shines to the other part [fn]of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

Luk 17:25

Luk 17:25“But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Luk 17:26

Luk 17:26“And just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:

Luk 17:27

Luk 17:27they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Luk 17:28

Luk 17:28“[fn]It was the same as in the days of Lot—they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;

Luk 17:29

Luk 17:29but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and [fn]brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

Luk 17:30

Luk 17:30“It will be [fn]just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.

Luk 17:31

Luk 17:31“On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out, and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back.

Luk 17:32

Luk 17:32“Remember Lot’s wife.
