Jhn 17:2

Jhn 17:2even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to [fn]all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life.

Jhn 17:3

Jhn 17:3“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Jhn 17:4

Jhn 17:4“I glorified You on the earth, [fn]having finished the work which You have given Me to do.

Jhn 17:5

Jhn 17:5“Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Jhn 17:6

“I have manifested^G5319 Your name^G3686 to the men^G444 whom^G3739 You gave^G1325 Me out of the world^G2889; they were Yours^G4771 and You gave^G1325 them to Me, and they have kept^G5083 Your word^G3056.

Jhn 17:7

Jhn 17:7“Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You;

Jhn 17:8

Jhn 17:8for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

Jhn 17:9

Jhn 17:9“I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours;

Jhn 17:10

Jhn 17:10and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them.

Jhn 17:11

Jhn 17:11“And I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.

Jhn 17:12

Jhn 17:12“While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the [fn]son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.

Jhn 17:13

Jhn 17:13“But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves.

Jhn 17:14

Jhn 17:14“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Jhn 17:15

Jhn 17:15“I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them [fn]from [fn]the evil one.

Jhn 17:16

Jhn 17:16“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Jhn 17:17

Jhn 17:17“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.

Jhn 17:18

Jhn 17:18“As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.

Jhn 17:19“For their sake I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

Jhn 17:20

“I do not ask^G2065 on behalf^G4012 of these^G3778 alone^G3441, but for those^G3588 also^G2532 who believe^G4100 in Me through^G1223 their word^G3056;

Jhn 17:21

Jhn 17:21that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may [fn]believe that You sent Me.

Jhn 17:22

Jhn 17:22“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;

Jhn 17:23

Jhn 17:23I in them and You in Me, that they may be [fn]perfected [fn]in unity, so that the world may [fn]know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

Jhn 17:24

Jhn 17:24“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Jhn 17:25

“O righteous^G1342 Father^G3962, [fn]although^G2532 the world^G2889 has not known^G1097 You, yet^G1161 I have known^G1097 You; and these^G3778 have known^G1097 that You sent^G649 Me;
