“How blessed ^H835 is the man ^H582 who does ^H6213 this ^H2088,

And the son ^H1121 of man ^H120 who takes ^H2388 hold ^H2388 of it,

Who keeps ^H8104 from profaning ^H2490 the sabbath ^H7676,

And keeps ^H8104 his hand ^H3027 from doing ^H6213 any ^H3605 evil ^H7451.”

Let not the foreigner ^H1121 H5236 who has joined ^H3867 himself to Yahweh ^H3068 say ^H559,

“Yahweh ^H3068 will surely ^H914 separate ^H914 me from His people ^H5971.”

Nor ^H408 let the eunuch ^H5631 say ^H559, “Behold ^H2005, I am a dry ^H3002 tree ^H6086.”

For thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068,

“To the eunuchs ^H5631 who ^H834 keep ^H8104 My sabbaths ^H7676,

And choose ^H977 what ^H834 pleases ^H2654 Me,

And hold ^H2388 fast ^H2388 My covenant ^H1285,

To them I will give ^H5414 in My house ^H1004 and within My walls ^H2346 a [fn]memorial ^H3027,

And a name ^H8034 better ^H2896 than ^H4480 that of sons ^H1121 and daughters ^H1323;

I will give ^H5414 [fn]them an everlasting ^H5769 name ^H8034 which ^H834 will not be cut ^H3772 off ^H3772.

“Also the foreigners ^H1121 H5236 who join ^H3867 themselves to Yahweh ^H3068,

To minister ^H8334 to Him, and to love ^H157 the name ^H8034 of Yahweh ^H3068,

To be His [fn]slaves ^H5650, every ^H3605 one ^H3605 who keeps ^H8104 from profaning ^H2490 the sabbath ^H7676

And takes ^H2388 hold ^H2388 of My covenant ^H1285,

Even those I will bring ^H935 to My holy ^H6944 mountain ^H2022

And make ^H8055 them glad ^H8055 in My house ^H1004 of prayer ^H8605.

Their burnt ^H5930 offerings ^H5930 and their sacrifices ^H2077 will be acceptable ^H7522 on My altar ^H4196;

For My house ^H1004 will be called ^H7121 a house ^H1004 of prayer ^H8605 for all ^H3605 the peoples ^H5971.”

Lord ^H136 Yahweh ^H3068, who gathers ^H6908 the banished ^H5080 of Israel ^H3478, declares ^H5002,

“Yet ^H5750 others I will gather ^H6908 to [fn]them, to those already gathered ^H6908.”

All ^H3605 you beasts ^H2416 of the field ^H7704,

All ^H3605 you beasts ^H2416 in the forest ^H3293,

Come ^H857 to eat ^H398.

His watchmen ^H6822 are blind ^H5787;

All ^H3605 of them know ^H3045 nothing ^H3808.

All ^H3605 of them are mute ^H483 dogs ^H3611 unable ^H3808 H3201 to bark ^H5024,

[fn]Dreamers ^H1957 lying ^H7901 down ^H7901, who love ^H157 to slumber ^H5123;

And the dogs ^H3611 have a strong ^H5315 [fn]appetite ^H5794; they do not know ^H3045 satisfaction ^H7654.

And they are shepherds ^H7462 who do not know ^H3045 understanding ^H995;

They have all ^H3605 turned ^H6437 to their own way ^H1870,

Each ^H376 one ^H376 to his greedy ^H1215 gain ^H1215, to the last ^H7097 one ^H7097.

“Come ^H857,” they say, “let [fn]us take ^H3947 wine ^H3196, and let us drink ^H5433 heavily ^H5433 of strong ^H7941 drink ^H7941;

And tomorrow ^H4279 will be like today ^H2088 H3117—[fn]beyond ^H3499 exceedingly ^H3966 great ^H1419.”
