Hosea Marries Again

Then Yahweh^H3068 said^H559 to me, “Go^H1980 again^H5750, love^H157 a [fn]woman^H802 who is loved^H157 by her companion^H7453 and is an adulteress^H5003, even as Yahweh^H3068 loves^H157 the sons^H1121 of Israel^H3478, though they turn^H6437 to other^H312 gods^H430 and love^H157 raisin^H809^H6025 cakes^H809.”

Hos 3:2So I bargained for her for myself for fifteen [fn]shekels of silver and a [fn]homer and a [fn]half of barley.

Hos 3:3Then I said to her, “You shall stay with me for many days. You shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a [fn]man; so I will also be toward you.”

Hos 3:4For the sons of Israel will remain for many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or [fn]household idols.

Hos 3:5Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek Yahweh their God and David their king; and they will come [fn]in dread to Yahweh and to His goodness in the last days.
