Sacrifices Pleasing to God

Heb 13:2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Heb 13:3Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you yourselves also are in the body.

Heb 13:4

Heb 13:4Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled, for the sexually immoral and adulterers God will judge.

Heb 13:5

Heb 13:5Make sure that your way of life is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”

Heb 13:6

Heb 13:6so that we confidently say,

“THE [fn]LORD^G2962 IS MY HELPER^G998, I WILL NOT BE^G5399 AFRAID^G5399.

WHAT^G5101 WILL MAN^G444 DO^G4160 TO ME?”

Heb 13:7

Remember^G3421 your leaders^G2233, who^G3748 spoke^G2980 the word^G3056 of God^G2316 to you; and considering^G333 the [fn]result^G1545 of their conduct^G391, imitate^G3401 their faith^G4102.

Heb 13:8

Heb 13:8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Heb 13:9

Heb 13:9Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who [fn]were so occupied were not benefited.

Heb 13:10

Heb 13:10We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no authority to eat.

Heb 13:11

Heb 13:11For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.

Heb 13:12

Heb 13:12Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

Heb 13:13

Heb 13:13So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

Heb 13:14

Heb 13:14For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the one to come.

Heb 13:15

Heb 13:15Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess His name.

Heb 13:16

Heb 13:16And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Heb 13:17

Obey^G3982 your leaders^G2233 and submit^G5226 to them—for they keep^G69 watch^G69 over^G5228 your souls^G5590 as those who will give^G591 an account^G3056—so that they will do^G4160 this^G3778 with joy^G5479 and not with groaning^G4727, for this^G3778 would be unprofitable^G255 for you.

Heb 13:18

Pray^G4336 for us, for we are^G3982 convinced^G3982 that we have^G2192 a good^G2570 conscience^G4893, desiring^G2309 to conduct^G390 ourselves well^G2573 in all^G3956 things^G3956.

Heb 13:19

Heb 13:19And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Heb 13:21equip you in every good thing to do His will, by doing in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
