Yahweh’s Portion of the Land

“And when you divide^H5307 by^H5307 lot^H5307 the land^H776 for inheritance^H5159, you shall offer^H7311 a contribution^H8641 to Yahweh^H3068, a holy^H6944 portion^H6944 of the land^H776; the length^H753 shall be the length^H753 of [fn]25,000^H2568^H6242^H505 cubits, and the width^H7341 shall be [fn]20,000^H6235^H505. It shall be holy^H6944 within all^H3605 its boundary^H1366 round^H5439 about^H5439.

Eze 45:2

Eze 45:2“Out of this there shall be for the holy place a square round about [fn]five hundred by five hundred cubits, and [fn]fifty cubits for its [fn]open space round about.

Eze 45:3

Eze 45:3“And from this [fn]area you shall measure a length of 25,000 cubits and a width of [fn]10,000 cubits; and in it shall be the sanctuary, the Holy of Holies.

Eze 45:4

Eze 45:4“It shall be the holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh, and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.

Eze 45:5

Eze 45:5“And an area 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 in width shall be for the Levites, the ministers of the house, and for their possession as [fn]cities to dwell in.

Eze 45:6

“And you shall give^H5414 the city^H5892 possession^H272 of an area [fn]5,000^H2568^H505 cubits wide^H7341 and 25,000^H2568^H6242^H505 cubits long^H753, alongside^H5980 the contribution^H8641 of the holy^H6944 portion^H6944; it shall be for the whole^H3605 house^H1004 of Israel^H3478.

The Prince’s Portion of the Land

Eze 45:7

“Now the prince^H5387 shall have land on either^H2088 side^H2088 of the holy^H6944 contribution^H8641 and the city’s^H5892 possession^H272 of land, adjacent^H413^H6440 to the holy^H6944 contribution^H8641 and the city’s^H5892 possession^H272 of land, on the west^H3220 side^H6285 toward the west^H3220 and on the east^H6924 side^H6285 toward the east^H6921, and in length^H753 comparable^H5980 to one^H259 of the portions^H2506, from the west^H3220 border^H1366 to the east^H6921 border^H1366.

Eze 45:8

Eze 45:8“This shall be his land for a possession in Israel; so My princes shall no longer mistreat My people, but they shall give the rest of the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.”

Eze 45:9

‘Thus^H3541 says^H559 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068, “Enough^H7227, you princes^H5387 of Israel^H3478; put^H5493 away^H5493 violence^H2555 and devastation^H7701, and do^H6213 justice^H4941 and righteousness^H6666. Stop^H7311 your eviction^H1646 of My people^H5971,” declares^H5002 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068.

Eze 45:10

“You shall have^H1961 just^H6664 balances^H3976, a just^H6664 [fn]ephah^H374, and a just^H6664 [fn]bath^H1324.

Eze 45:11

Eze 45:11“The ephah and the bath shall be [fn]the same quantity so that the bath will contain a tenth of a [fn]homer and the ephah a tenth of a homer; [fn]their standard shall be according to the homer.

Eze 45:12

Eze 45:12“And the [fn]shekel shall be twenty [fn]gerahs; twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall be your [fn]maneh.

Eze 45:13

“This^H2088 is the contribution^H8641 that you shall offer^H7311: a sixth^H8345 of an ephah^H374 from a homer^H2563 of wheat^H2406, a sixth^H8341 of an ephah^H374 from a homer^H2563 of barley^H8184,

Eze 45:14

Eze 45:14and the statute for the oil (namely, the [fn]bath of oil), a tenth of a bath from each [fn]kor (which is ten baths or a homer, for ten baths are a homer),

Eze 45:15

Eze 45:15and one sheep from each flock of two hundred from the watering places of Israel—for a grain offering, for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them,” declares Lord Yahweh.

Eze 45:16

Eze 45:16“All the people of the land shall [fn]give to this contribution for the prince in Israel.

Eze 45:17

Eze 45:17“And it shall be the prince’s part to provide the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the drink offerings, at the feasts, on the new moons, and on the sabbaths, at all the appointed times of the house of Israel; he shall [fn]provide the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.”

Eze 45:18

‘Thus^H3541 says^H559 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068, “In the first^H7223 month, on the first^H259 of the month^H2320, you shall take^H3947 a bull^H6499 from the herd^H1121^H1241 without^H8549 blemish^H8549 and purify^H2398 the sanctuary^H4720.

Eze 45:19

Eze 45:19“The priest shall take some of the blood from the sin offering and put it on the door posts of the house, on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.

Eze 45:20

Eze 45:20“And thus you shall do on the seventh day of the month for everyone who errs or is simpleminded; so you shall make atonement for the house.

Eze 45:21

“In the first^H7223 month, on the fourteenth^H702^H6240 day^H3117 of the month^H2320, you shall have^H1961 the Passover^H6453, a feast^H2282 of seven^H7620 days^H3117; unleavened^H4682 bread^H4682 shall be eaten^H398.

Eze 45:22

Eze 45:22“And on that day the prince shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.

Eze 45:23

Eze 45:23“And during the seven days of the feast he shall provide as a burnt offering to Yahweh seven bulls and seven rams without blemish on every day of the seven days, and a male goat daily for a sin offering.

Eze 45:24

Eze 45:24“And he shall provide as a grain offering an ephah [fn]with a bull, an ephah [fn]with a ram, and a [fn]hin of oil [fn]with an ephah.

Eze 45:25

Eze 45:25“In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast, he shall provide like this, seven days [fn]for the sin offering, the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the oil.”
