Prophecy Against Gog

And the word^H1697 of Yahweh^H3068 came^H1961 to me saying^H559,

Eze 38:2“Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the [fn]chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him

Eze 38:3

Eze 38:3and say, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, [fn]chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

Eze 38:4

Eze 38:4“I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your military force, horses and horsemen, all of them [fn]magnificently dressed, a great assembly with large shield and shield, all of them [fn]wielding swords;

Eze 38:5

Eze 38:5Persia, [fn]Ethiopia, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

Eze 38:6

Eze 38:6Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

Eze 38:7

“Be prepared^H3559, and prepare^H3559 yourself, you and all^H3605 your assembly^H6951 that are assembled^H6950 about^H5921 you, and be a guard^H4929 for them.

Eze 38:8

Eze 38:8“After many days you will be mustered; in the last years you will come into the land that is [fn]restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many peoples to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but [fn]its people were brought out from the peoples, and they are living securely, all of them.

Eze 38:9

Eze 38:9“And you will go up; you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”

Eze 38:10

‘Thus^H3541 says^H559 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068, “It will be^H1961 in that day^H3117, that [fn]thoughts^H1697 will come^H5927 into your heart^H3824, and you will devise^H2803 an evil^H7451 plan^H4284,

Eze 38:11

Eze 38:11and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of [fn]unwalled villages. I will go against those who dwell quietly, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,

Eze 38:12

Eze 38:12to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places, which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and property, who live at the [fn]center of the world.’

Eze 38:13

Eze 38:13“Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its [fn]young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’”’

Eze 38:14

“Therefore^H3651 prophesy^H5012, son^H1121 of man^H120, and say^H559 to Gog^H1463, ‘Thus^H3541 says^H559 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068, “On that day^H3117 when My people^H5971 Israel^H3478 are living^H3427 securely^H983, will you not know^H3045 it?

Eze 38:15

Eze 38:15“You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and numerous peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a numerous military force;

Eze 38:16

Eze 38:16and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It will be in the last days that I will bring you against My land so that the nations may know Me when I prove Myself holy through you before their eyes, O Gog.”

Eze 38:17

‘Thus^H3541 says^H559 Lord^H136 Yahweh^H3068, “Are you the one^H1931 of whom^H834 I spoke^H1696 in former^H6931 days^H3117 by the hand^H3027 of My slaves^H5650 the prophets^H5030 of Israel^H3478, who prophesied^H5012 in those^H1992 days^H3117 for many years^H8141 that I would bring^H935 you against^H5921 them?

Eze 38:18

Eze 38:18“And it will be in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares Lord Yahweh, “that My wrath will mount up in My anger.

Eze 38:19

Eze 38:19“In My zeal and in My blazing fury I have spoken that on that day there will surely be a great [fn]earthquake in the land of Israel.

Eze 38:20

Eze 38:20“And the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will quake at My presence; the mountains also will be pulled down, the steep pathways will fall, and every wall will fall to the earth.

Eze 38:21

Eze 38:21“And I will call for a sword against [fn]him on all My mountains,” declares Lord Yahweh. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.

Eze 38:22

Eze 38:22“With pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the numerous peoples who are with him, [fn]a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Eze 38:23

Eze 38:23“And I will magnify Myself, I will manifest Myself as holy, and I will make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am Yahweh.”’
