Yahweh Says One More Plague

(Exo 3:21, 22; 12:35, 36 )

Then Yahweh^H3068 said^H559 to Moses^H4872, “One^H259 more^H5750 plague^H5061 I will bring^H935 on Pharaoh^H6547 and on Egypt^H4714; after^H310 that he will let^H7971 you go^H7971 from here^H2088. When he lets^H7971 you go^H7971, he will surely^H1644 drive^H1644 you out^H1644 from here^H2088 completely^H3605.

Exo 11:2

Exo 11:2“Speak now in the [fn]hearing of the people so that each man may ask from his neighbor and each woman from her neighbor for articles of silver and articles of gold.”

Exo 11:3

Exo 11:3(And Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses himself was very great in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.)

Exo 11:4

So Moses^H4872 said^H559, “Thus^H3541 says^H559 Yahweh^H3068, ‘About midnight^H2676^H3915 I am going^H3318 out^H3318 into the midst^H8432 of Egypt^H4714,

Exo 11:5

Exo 11:5and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the servant-girl who is behind the millstones; and all the firstborn of the cattle.

Exo 11:6

Exo 11:6‘Moreover, there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been before and such as shall never be again.

Exo 11:7

Exo 11:7‘But for any of the sons of Israel a dog will not even [fn]bark, whether against man or beast, that you may know how Yahweh makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’

Exo 11:8

Exo 11:8“Then all these your servants will come down to me and bow themselves [fn]before me, saying, ‘Go out, you and all the people who [fn]follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.

Exo 11:9

Then Yahweh^H3068 said^H559 to Moses^H4872, “Pharaoh^H6547 will not listen^H8085 to you, so^H4616 that My miraculous^H4159 wonders^H4159 will be multiplied^H7235 in the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714.”

Exo 11:10

Exo 11:10Now Moses and Aaron did all these miraculous wonders before Pharaoh; yet Yahweh [fn]hardened Pharaoh’s heart with strength, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.
