2Co 13:2

2Co 13:2I have previously said when present the second time, and though now absent I say in advance to those who have sinned in the past and to all the rest as well, that if I come again I will not spare anyone,

2Co 13:3

2Co 13:3since you are seeking proof that Christ speaks in me; He is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.

2Co 13:4

2Co 13:4For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak [fn]in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God toward you.

2Co 13:5

Test^G3985 yourselves^G1438 to see if^G1487 you are in the faith^G4102; examine^G1381 yourselves^G1438! Or^G2228 do you not recognize^G1921 about yourselves^G1438 that Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 is in you—unless^G1487^G3385 indeed you [fn]fail^G96 the^G96 test^G96?

2Co 13:6But I hope that you will realize that we ourselves [fn]do not fail the test.

2Co 13:7

2Co 13:7Now we pray to God that you do no wrong, not that we ourselves may appear approved, but that you may do what is right, even though we may [fn]appear unapproved.

2Co 13:8For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.

2Co 13:9

2Co 13:9For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong. This we also pray for, [fn]that you be restored.

2Co 13:10

2Co 13:10For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present I need not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
