Jesus Christ, Our Foundation

And I, brothers^G80, was not able^G1410 to speak^G2980 to you as to spiritual^G4152 men^G4152, but as to fleshly^G4560 men^G4560, as to infants^G3516 in Christ^G5547.

1Co 3:2

1Co 3:2I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are still not able,

1Co 3:3

1Co 3:3for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking [fn]like mere men?

1Co 3:4

1Co 3:4For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men?

1Co 3:5

What^G5101 then^G3767 is Apollos^G625? And what^G5101 is Paul^G3972? Servants^G1249 through^G1223 whom^G3739 you believed^G4100, even^G2532 as the Lord^G2962 gave^G1325 to each^G1538 one^G1538.

1Co 3:6

1Co 3:6I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.

1Co 3:7

1Co 3:7So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

1Co 3:8

1Co 3:8Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own [fn]reward according to his own labor.

1Co 3:9

1Co 3:9For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s [fn]field, God’s building.

1Co 3:10

1Co 3:12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, [fn]precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

1Co 3:13each man’s work will become evident, for the day will indicate it because it is revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test [fn]the quality of each man’s work.

1Co 3:14If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.

1Co 3:15

1Co 3:15If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

1Co 3:16

Do you not know^G6063 that you are a [fn]sanctuary^G3485 of God^G2316 and that the Spirit^G4151 of God^G2316 dwells^G3611 in you?

1Co 3:17

1Co 3:17If any man destroys the [fn]sanctuary of God, God will destroy him, for the [fn]sanctuary of God is holy, and [fn]that is what you are.

1Co 3:18

Let no^G3367 man^G3367 deceive^G1818 himself^G1438. If^G1487 any^G5100 man^G5100 among^G1722 you thinks^G1380 that he is wise^G4680 in this^G3778 age^G165, he must become^G1096 foolish^G3474, so^G2443 that he may become^G1096 wise^G4680.
