Psalm 118 :: Hebrew Names Version (HNV)

Psa 118:1

Psa 118:1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, For his lovingkindness endures forever.

Psa 118:2

Psa 118:2Let Yisra'el now say That his lovingkindness endures forever.

Psa 118:3

Psa 118:3Let the house of Aharon now say That his lovingkindness endures forever.

Psa 118:4

Psa 118:4Now let those who fear the LORD say That his lovingkindness endures forever.

Psa 118:5

Psa 118:5Out of my distress, I called on the LORD. The LORD answered me with freedom.

Psa 118:6

Psa 118:6The LORD is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psa 118:7

Psa 118:7The LORD is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

Psa 118:8

Psa 118:8It is better to take refuge in the LORD, Than to put confidence in man.

Psa 118:9

Psa 118:9It is better to take refuge in the LORD, Than to put confidence in princes.

Psa 118:10

Psa 118:10All the nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD, I cut them off.

Psa 118:11

Psa 118:11They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the name of the LORD I indeed cut them off.

Psa 118:12

Psa 118:12They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the name of the LORD I cut them off.

Psa 118:13

Psa 118:13You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, But the LORD helped me.

Psa 118:14

Psa 118:14The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my yeshu`ah.

Psa 118:15

Psa 118:15The voice of rejoicing and yeshu`ah is in the tents of the righteous. "The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

Psa 118:16

Psa 118:16The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD does valiantly!"

Psa 118:17

Psa 118:17I will not die, but live, And declare the LORD's works.

Psa 118:18

Psa 118:18The LORD has punished me severely, But he has not given me over to death.

Psa 118:19

Psa 118:19Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to the LORD.

Psa 118:20

Psa 118:20This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter into it.

Psa 118:21

Psa 118:21I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, And have become my yeshu`ah.

Psa 118:22

Psa 118:22The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

Psa 118:23

Psa 118:23This is the LORD's doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

Psa 118:24

Psa 118:24This is the day that the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

Psa 118:25

Psa 118:25Save us now, we beg you, LORD; LORD, we beg you, now send prosperity.

Psa 118:26

Psa 118:26Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

Psa 118:27

Psa 118:27The LORD is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

Psa 118:28

Psa 118:28You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.

Psa 118:29

Psa 118:29Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, For his lovingkindness endures forever.
