Psalm 115 :: Hebrew Names Version (HNV)

Psa 115:1

Psa 115:1Not to us, LORD, not to us, But to your name give glory, For your lovingkindness, and for your truth's sake.

Psa 115:2

Psa 115:2Why should the nations say, "Where is their God, now?"

Psa 115:3

Psa 115:3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.

Psa 115:4

Psa 115:4Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

Psa 115:5

Psa 115:5They have mouths, but they don't speak; They have eyes, but they don't see;

Psa 115:6

Psa 115:6They have ears, but they don't hear; They have noses, but they don't smell;

Psa 115:7

Psa 115:7They have hands, but they don't feel; They have feet, but they don't walk; Neither do they speak through their throat.

Psa 115:8

Psa 115:8Those who make them will be like them; Yes, everyone who trusts in them.

Psa 115:9

Psa 115:9Yisra'el, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Psa 115:10

Psa 115:10House of Aharon, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Psa 115:11

Psa 115:11You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Psa 115:12

Psa 115:12The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Yisra'el. He will bless the house of Aharon.

Psa 115:13

Psa 115:13He will bless those who fear the LORD, Both small and great.

Psa 115:14

Psa 115:14May the LORD increase you more and more, You and your children.

Psa 115:15

Psa 115:15Blessed are you by the LORD, Who made heaven and eretz.

Psa 115:16

Psa 115:16The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; But the eretz has he given to the children of men.

Psa 115:17

Psa 115:17The dead don't praise the LORD, Neither any who go down into silence;

Psa 115:18

Psa 115:18But we will bless the LORD, From this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!
