Numbers 12 :: Hebrew Names Version (HNV)

Num 12:1Miryam and Aharon spoke against Moshe because of the Kushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Kushite woman.
Num 12:2They said, Has the LORD indeed spoken only with Moshe? Hasn't he spoken also with us? the LORD heard it.
Num 12:3Now the man Moshe was very humble, above all the men who were on the surface of the eretz.
Num 12:4The LORD spoke suddenly to Moshe, and to Aharon, and to Miryam, Come out you three to the tent of meeting. They three came out.
Num 12:5The LORD came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aharon and Miryam; and they both came forth.
Num 12:6He said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.
Num 12:7My servant Moshe is not so; he is faithful in all my house:
Num 12:8with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of the LORD shall he see: why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moshe?
Num 12:9The anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
Num 12:10The cloud removed from over the Tent; and, behold, Miryam was leprous, as white as snow: and Aharon looked at Miryam, and, behold, she was leprous.
Num 12:11Aharon said to Moshe, Oh, my lord, please don't lay sin on us, for that we have done foolishly, and for that we have sinned.
Num 12:12Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.
Num 12:13Moshe cried to the LORD, saying, Heal her, God, I beg you.
Num 12:14The LORD said to Moshe, If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn't she be ashamed seven days? let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.
Num 12:15Miryam was shut up outside of the camp seven days: and the people didn't travel until Miryam was brought in again.
Num 12:16Afterward the people traveled from Hatzerot, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
