Territory of Simeon

Jos 19:1The second lot came out for Shim`on, even for the tribe of the children of Shim`on according to their families: and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Yehudah.

Jos 19:2

Jos 19:2They had for their inheritance Be'er-Sheva, or Sheva, and Moladah,

Jos 19:3

Jos 19:3and Hatzar-Shu`al, and Balah, and `Etzem,

Jos 19:4

Jos 19:4and Eltolad, and Beitul, and Hormah,

Jos 19:5

Jos 19:5and Tziklag, and Beit-Markavot, and Hatzar-Susah,

Jos 19:6and Beit-Leva'ot, and Sharuchen; thirteen cities with their villages:

Jos 19:7`Ayin, Rimmon, and `Eter, and `Ashan; four cities with their villages:

Jos 19:8and all the villages that were round about these cities to Ba`alat-Be'er, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Shim`on according to their families.

Jos 19:9Out of the part of the children of Yehudah was the inheritance of the children of Shim`on; for the portion of the children of Yehudah was too much for them: therefore the children of Shim`on had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.

Territory of Zebulun

Jos 19:10

Jos 19:10The third lot came up for the children of Zevulun according to their families; and the border of their inheritance was to Sarid;

Jos 19:11

Jos 19:11and their border went up westward, even to Mar`alah, and reached to Dabbeshet; and it reached to the brook that is before Yokne`am;

Jos 19:12

Jos 19:12and it turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Kislot-Tavor; and it went out to Daverat, and went up to Yafia;

Jos 19:13

Jos 19:13and from there it passed along eastward to Gat-Hefer, to Eth-kazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Ne`ah;

Jos 19:14

Jos 19:14and the border turned about it on the north to Hannaton; and the goings out of it were at the valley of Yiftach-El;

Jos 19:15

Jos 19:15and Kattat, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Yid'alah, and Beit-Lechem: twelve cities with their villages.

Jos 19:16This is the inheritance of the children of Zevulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Territory of Issachar

Jos 19:17

Jos 19:17The fourth lot came out for Yissakhar, even for the children of Yissakhar according to their families.

Jos 19:18Their border was to Yizre`el, and Kesullot, and Shunem,

Jos 19:19

Jos 19:19and Hafarayim, and Shi'on, and Anacharat,

Jos 19:20

Jos 19:20and Rabbit, and Kishyon, and Evetz,

Jos 19:21

Jos 19:21and Remet, and En-Gannim, and `En-Haddah, and Beit-Patztzetz,

Jos 19:22and the border reached to Tavor, and Shachatzmah, and Beth-shemesh; and the goings out of their border were at the Yarden: sixteen cities with their villages.

Jos 19:23This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Yissakhar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Territory of Asher

Jos 19:24

Jos 19:24The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

Jos 19:25

Jos 19:25Their border was Helkat, and Hali, and Beten, and Akhshaf,

Jos 19:26

Jos 19:26and Allammelekh, and `Am`ad, and Mish'al; and it reached to Karmel westward, and to Shichor-Livnat;

Jos 19:27

Jos 19:27and it turned toward the sunrise to Beit-Dagon, and reached to Zevulun, and to the valley of Yiftach-El northward to Beit-Ha`emek and Ne`i'el; and it went out to Kavul on the left hand,

Jos 19:28and `Evron, and Rechov, and Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Tzidon;

Jos 19:29

Jos 19:29and the border turned to Ramah, and to the fortified city of Tzor; and the border turned to Hosah; and the goings out of it were at the sea by the region of Akhziv;

Jos 19:30

Jos 19:30`Ummah also, and Afek, and Rechov: twenty-two cities with their villages.

Jos 19:31

Jos 19:31This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Territory of Naphtali

Jos 19:32

Jos 19:32The sixth lot came out for the children of Naftali, even for the children of Naftali according to their families.

Jos 19:33Their border was from Helef, from the oak in Tza`anannim, and Adami-Nekev, and Yavne'el, to Lakkum; and the goings out of it were at the Yarden;

Jos 19:34

Jos 19:34and the border turned westward to Aznot-Tavor, and went out from there to Hukok; and it reached to Zevulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Yehudah at the Yarden toward the sunrise.

Jos 19:35

Jos 19:35The fortified cities were Tziddim, Tzer, and Hammat, Rakkat, and Kinneret,

Jos 19:36

Jos 19:36and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hatzor,

Jos 19:37

Jos 19:37and Kedesh, and Edre`i, and `En-Hatzor,

Jos 19:38

Jos 19:38Yir`on, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beit-`Anat, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

Jos 19:40

Jos 19:40The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

Jos 19:41The border of their inheritance was Tzor`ah, and Eshta'ol, and `Ir-Shamesh,

Jos 19:42and Sha`alabbin, and Ayalon, and Yitlah,

Jos 19:43

Jos 19:43and Elon, and Timnata, and `Ekron,

Jos 19:44

Jos 19:44and Eltekeh, and Gibbeton, and Ba`alat,

Jos 19:47The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

Jos 19:49So they made an end of distributing the land for inheritance by the borders of it; and the children of Yisra'el gave an inheritance to Yehoshua the son of Nun in the midst of them:

Jos 19:50according to the mitzvah of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnat-Serach in the hill-country of Efrayim; and he built the city, and lived therein.

Jos 19:51These are the inheritances, which El`azar the Kohen, and Yehoshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the tribes of the children of Yisra'el, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting. So they made an end of dividing the land.
