Genesis 10 :: Hebrew Names Version (HNV)

Gen 10:1Now this is the history of the generations of the sons of Noach and of Shem, Ham, and Yefet. Sons were born to them after the flood.
Gen 10:2The sons of Yefet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yavan, Tuval, Meshekh, and Tiras.
Gen 10:3The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Rifat, and Togarmah.
Gen 10:4The sons of Yavan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
Gen 10:5Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, everyone after his language, after their families, in their nations.
Gen 10:6The sons of Ham: Kush, Mitzrayim, Put, and Kana`an.
Gen 10:7The sons of Kush: Seva, Havilah, Savtah, Ra`mah, and Savtekha. The sons of Ra`mah: Sheva and Dedan.
Gen 10:8Kush became the father of Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the eretz.
Gen 10:9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. Therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."
Gen 10:10The beginning of his kingdom was Bavel, Erekh, Akkad, and Kalneh, in the land of Shin`ar.
Gen 10:11Out of that land he went forth into Ashshur, and built Nineveh, Rechovot-Ir, Kelach,
Gen 10:12and Resen between Nineveh and Kelach (the same is the great city).
Gen 10:13Mitzrayim became the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehavim, Naftuchim,

Gen 10:17the Hivvi, the `Arki, the Sini,
Gen 10:18the Arvadi, the Tzemari, and the Hamati. Afterward the families of the Kana`anim were spread abroad.
Gen 10:19The border of the Kana`anim was from Tzidon, as you go toward Gerar, to `Aza; as you go toward Sedom, `Amorah, Admah, and Tzevoyim, to Lasha.
Gen 10:20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their languages, in their lands, in their nations.
Gen 10:21To Shem, the father of all the children of `Ever, the elder brother of Yefet, to him also were children born.
Gen 10:22The sons of Shem: `Elam, Ashshur, Arpakhshad, Lud, and Aram.
Gen 10:23The sons of Aram: `Utz, Hul, Geter, and Mash.
Gen 10:24Arpakhshad became the father of Shelach. Shelach became the father of `Ever.
Gen 10:25To `Ever were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the eretz divided. His brother's name was Yoktan.
Gen 10:26Yoktan became the father of Almodad, Shelef, Hatzarmavat, Yerach,
Gen 10:27Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
Gen 10:28`Oval, Avima'el, Sheva,
Gen 10:29Ofir, Havilah, and Yovav. All these were the sons of Yoktan.
Gen 10:30Their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go toward Sefar, the mountain of the east.
Gen 10:31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their languages, in their lands, after their nations.
Gen 10:32These are the families of the sons of Noach, after their generations, in their nations. Of these were the nations divided in the eretz after the flood.
