Tremble at the Presence of the Lord

Psa 114:1

Psa 114:1When Israel went out from Egypt,
the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

Psa 114:2

Psa 114:2Judah became his sanctuary,
Israel his dominion.

Psa 114:3

Psa 114:3The sea looked and fled;
Jordan turned back.

Psa 114:4

Psa 114:4The mountains skipped like rams,
the hills like lambs.

Psa 114:5

Psa 114:5What ails you, O sea, that you flee?
O Jordan, that you turn back?

Psa 114:6

Psa 114:6O mountains, that you skip like rams?
O hills, like lambs?

Psa 114:7

Psa 114:7Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob,

Psa 114:8

Psa 114:8who turns the rock into a pool of water,
the flint into a spring of water.
