Bildad Speaks: Man Cannot Be Righteous

Job 25:1

Job 25:1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

Job 25:2

Job 25:2“Dominion and fear are with God;[fn]
he makes peace in his high heaven.

Job 25:3

Job 25:3Is there any number to his armies?
Upon whom does his light not arise?

Job 25:4

Job 25:4How then can man be in the right before God?
How can he who is born of woman be pure?

Job 25:5

Job 25:5Behold, even the moon is not bright,
and the stars are not pure in his eyes;

Job 25:6

Job 25:6how much less man, who is a maggot,
and the son of man, who is a worm!”
