1Ch 8:1Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

1Ch 8:2

1Ch 8:2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

1Ch 8:3

1Ch 8:3And Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,

1Ch 8:4

1Ch 8:4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

1Ch 8:5

1Ch 8:5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

1Ch 8:6

1Ch 8:6These are the sons of Ehud (they were heads of fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried into exile to Manahath):

1Ch 8:7

1Ch 8:7Naaman,[fn] Ahijah, and Gera, that is, Heglam, who fathered[fn] Uzza and Ahihud.

1Ch 8:8

1Ch 8:8And Shaharaim fathered sons in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

1Ch 8:9

1Ch 8:9He fathered sons by Hodesh his wife: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,

1Ch 8:10

1Ch 8:10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ houses.

1Ch 8:11

1Ch 8:11He also fathered sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.

1Ch 8:12

1Ch 8:12The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns,

1Ch 8:13

1Ch 8:13and Beriah and Shema (they were heads of fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who caused the inhabitants of Gath to flee);

1Ch 8:14

1Ch 8:14and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth.

1Ch 8:15

1Ch 8:15Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

1Ch 8:16

1Ch 8:16Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were sons of Beriah.

1Ch 8:17

1Ch 8:17Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

1Ch 8:18

1Ch 8:18Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

1Ch 8:19

1Ch 8:19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

1Ch 8:20Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,

1Ch 8:21

1Ch 8:21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

1Ch 8:22Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

1Ch 8:23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,

1Ch 8:24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,

1Ch 8:25Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

1Ch 8:26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

1Ch 8:27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

1Ch 8:28

1Ch 8:28These were the heads of fathers’ houses, according to their generations, chief men. These lived in Jerusalem.

1Ch 8:29

1Ch 8:29Jeiel[fn] the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon, and the name of his wife was Maacah.

1Ch 8:30

1Ch 8:30His firstborn son: Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,

1Ch 8:31

1Ch 8:31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,

1Ch 8:32

1Ch 8:32and Mikloth (he fathered Shimeah). Now these also lived opposite their kinsmen in Jerusalem, with their kinsmen.

1Ch 8:33

1Ch 8:33Ner was the father of Kish, Kish of Saul, Saul of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal;

1Ch 8:34

1Ch 8:34and the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal was the father of Micah.

1Ch 8:35

1Ch 8:35The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

1Ch 8:36

1Ch 8:36Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri fathered Moza.

1Ch 8:37

1Ch 8:37Moza fathered Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

1Ch 8:38

1Ch 8:38Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

1Ch 8:39

1Ch 8:39The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

1Ch 8:40

1Ch 8:40The sons of Ulam were men who were mighty warriors, bowmen, having many sons and grandsons, 150. All these were Benjaminites.
