Comfort in Trouble from Recalling God's Mighty Deeds.

Psa 77:1{To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.} My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.

Psa 77:2

Psa 77:2In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted.

Psa 77:3

Psa 77:3I remembered God, and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Psa 77:4Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak.

Psa 77:5I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.

Psa 77:6I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.

Psa 77:7Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

Psa 77:8Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath his word come to an end from generation to generation?

Psa 77:9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

Psa 77:10Then said I, This is my weakness: -- the years of the right hand of the Most High

Psa 77:19Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.

Psa 77:20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
