Psalm 26 :: Darby Translation (DBY)

Psa 26:1{A Psalm of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.
Psa 26:2Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:
Psa 26:3For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.
Psa 26:4I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;
Psa 26:5I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.
Psa 26:6I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,
Psa 26:7That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.
Psa 26:8Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
Psa 26:9Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;
Psa 26:10In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.
Psa 26:11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.
Psa 26:12My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
