Psalm 99 :: Brenton's English Septuagint (BES)

Psa 99:1(LXX 98:1) A Psalm of David. The Lord reigns;—let the people rage; it is he that sits upon the cherubs, let the earth be moved.
Psa 99:2(LXX 98:2) The Lord is great in Sion, and is high over all the people.
Psa 99:3(LXX 98:3) Let them give thanks to thy great name; for it is terrible and holy.
Psa 99:4(LXX 98:4) And the king's honour loves judgment; thou hast prepared [fn]equity, thou hast wrought judgment and justice in Jacob.
Psa 99:5(LXX 98:5) Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Psa 99:6(LXX 98:6) Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he heard them.
Psa 99:7(LXX 98:7) He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies, and the ordinances which he gave them.
Psa 99:8(LXX 98:8) O Lord our God, thou heardest them; O God, thou becamest propitious to them, though thou didst take vengeance on all their devices.
Psa 99:9(LXX 98:9) Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy.
