Psa 8:1

Psa 8:1For the end, concerning the wine-presses, a Psalm of David. (LXX 8:2) O Lord, our Lord, how wonderful is thy name in all the earth! for thy magnificence is exalted above the heavens.

Psa 8:2

Psa 8:2(LXX 8:3) [fn] Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou perfected praise, because of thine enemies; that thou mightest put down the enemy and avenger.

Psa 8:3

Psa 8:3(LXX 8:4) For I will regard the heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and stars, which thou hast established.

Psa 8:4

Psa 8:4(LXX 8:5) [fn] What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psa 8:5

Psa 8:5(LXX 8:6) Thou madest him a little less than angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour;

Psa 8:6(LXX 8:7) and thou hast set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet:

Psa 8:7(LXX 8:8) sheep and all [fn]oxen, yea, and the cattle of the field;

Psa 8:8(LXX 8:9) the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, the creatures passing through the paths of the sea.

Psa 8:9

Psa 8:9(LXX 8:10) O Lord our Lord, how wonderful is thy name in all the earth!
