Psalm 36 :: Brenton's English Septuagint (BES)

Psa 36:1(LXX 35:1) For the end, by David the servant of the Lord. (35:2) The transgressor, that he may sin, says within himself, that [fn] there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Psa 36:2(LXX 35:3) For he has dealt craftily before him, [fn]to discover his iniquity and hate it.
Psa 36:3(LXX 35:4) The words of his mouth are transgression and deceit: he is not inclined to understand how to do good.
Psa 36:4(LXX 35:5) He devises iniquity on his bed; he gives himself to every evil way; and does not abhor evil.
Psa 36:5(LXX 35:6) O Lord, thy mercy is in the heaven; and thy truth reaches to the clouds.
Psa 36:6(LXX 35:7) Thy righteousness is as the [fn]mountains of God, thy judgments are as a great deep: O Lord, thou wilt preserve men and beasts.
Psa 36:7(LXX 35:8) How hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! so the children of men shall trust in the shelter of thy wings.
Psa 36:8(LXX 35:9) They shall be [fn]fully satisfied with the fatness of thine house; and thou shalt cause them to drink of the full stream of thy delights.
Psa 36:9(LXX 35:10) For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light we shall see light.
Psa 36:10(LXX 35:11) Extend thy mercy to them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Psa 36:11(LXX 35:12) Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of sinners move me.
Psa 36:12(LXX 35:13) There have all the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast out, and shall not be able to stand.
