Psalm 114 :: Brenton's English Septuagint (BES)

Psa 114:1(LXX 113:1) Alleluia. At the going forth of Israel from Egypt, of the house of Jacob from a barbarous people,
Psa 114:2(LXX 113:2) Judea became his [fn]sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
Psa 114:3(LXX 113:3) The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.
Psa 114:4(LXX 113:4) The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like lambs.
Psa 114:5(LXX 113:5) What ailed thee, O sea, that thou fleddest? and thou Jordan, that thou wast turned back?
Psa 114:6(LXX 113:6) Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye hills, like lambs?
Psa 114:7(LXX 113:7) The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
Psa 114:8(LXX 113:8) who turned the rock into pools of water, and the [fn]flint into fountains of water.
