Aaron Offers Sacrifices

1 Now it came ^H1961 about ^H1961 on the eighth ^H8066 day ^H3117 that Moses ^H4872 called ^H7121 Aaron ^H175 and his sons ^H1121 and the elders ^H2205 of Israel ^H3478;

2 and he said ^H559 to Aaron ^H175, “Take ^H3947 for yourself a calf ^H5695, a bull ^H1121 H1241, as a sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 and a ram ^H352 as a burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930, both without ^H8549 defect ^H8549, and offer ^H7126 them before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068. 3 Then you shall speak ^H1696 to the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478, saying ^H559, ‘Take ^H3947 a male ^H8163 goat ^H5795 as a sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403, and a calf ^H5695 and a lamb ^H3532, both one year ^H8141 old ^H1121, without ^H8549 defect ^H8549, as a burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930, 4 and an ox ^H7794 and a ram ^H352 for peace ^H8002 offerings ^H8002, to sacrifice ^H2076 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068, and a grain offering ^H4503 mixed ^H1101 with oil ^H8081; for today ^H3117 the LORD ^H3068 will appear ^H7200 to you.’” 5 So they took ^H3947 what ^H834 Moses ^H4872 had commanded ^H6680 to the front ^H6440 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, and the whole ^H3605 congregation ^H5712 came ^H7126 near ^H7126 and stood ^H5975 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068. 6 And Moses ^H4872 said ^H559, “This ^H2088 is the thing ^H1697 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 has commanded ^H6680 you to do ^H6213, so that the glory ^H3519 of the LORD ^H3068 may appear ^H7200 to you.” 7 Moses ^H4872 then said ^H559 to Aaron ^H175, “Come ^H7126 near ^H7126 to the altar ^H4196 and [fn]offer ^H6213 your sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 and your burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930, so that you may make ^H3722 atonement ^H3722 for yourself and for the people ^H5971; then make ^H6213 the offering ^H7133 [fn]for the people ^H5971, so that you may make ^H3722 atonement ^H3722 for them, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 has commanded ^H6680.”

8 So Aaron ^H175 came ^H7126 near ^H7126 to the altar ^H4196 and slaughtered ^H7819 the calf ^H5695 of the sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 which ^H834 was for himself. 9 Aaron’s ^H175 sons ^H1121 then presented ^H7126 the blood ^H1818 to him; and he dipped ^H2881 his finger ^H676 in the blood ^H1818 and put ^H5414 some on the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196, and poured ^H3332 out ^H3332 the rest of the blood ^H1818 at the base ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196. 10 The fat ^H2459 and the kidneys ^H3629 and the [fn]lobe ^H3508 of the liver ^H3516 of the sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 he then offered ^H6999 up ^H6999 in ^H6999 smoke ^H6999 on the altar ^H4196, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 11 The flesh ^H1320 and the hide ^H5785, however, he burned ^H8313 with fire ^H784 outside ^H4480 H2351 the camp ^H4264.

12 Then he slaughtered ^H7819 the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930; and Aaron’s ^H175 sons ^H1121 brought ^H4672 the blood ^H1818 to him, and he sprinkled ^H2236 it around ^H5439 on the altar ^H4196. 13 They brought ^H4672 the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 to him in [fn]pieces ^H5409, with the head ^H7218, and he offered ^H6999 them up ^H6999 in ^H6999 smoke ^H6999 on the altar ^H4196. 14 He also washed ^H7364 the entrails ^H7130 and the legs ^H3767, and offered ^H6999 them up ^H6999 in ^H6999 smoke ^H6999 with the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 on the altar ^H4196.

15 Then he presented ^H7126 the people’s ^H5971 offering ^H7133, and took ^H3947 the goat ^H5795 of the sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 which ^H834 was for the people ^H5971, and slaughtered ^H7819 it and offered ^H2398 it for ^H2398 sin ^H2398, like the first ^H7223. 16 He also presented ^H7126 the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930, and [fn]offered ^H6213 it according to the ordinance ^H4941. 17 Next he presented ^H7126 the grain offering ^H4503, and filled ^H4390 his [fn]hand ^H3709 with some ^H4480 of it and offered ^H6999 it up ^H6999 in ^H6999 smoke ^H6999 on the altar ^H4196, besides ^H4480 H905 the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 of the morning ^H1242.

18 Then he slaughtered ^H7819 the ox ^H7794 and the ram ^H352, the sacrifice ^H2077 of peace ^H8002 offerings ^H8002 which ^H834 was for the people ^H5971; and Aaron’s ^H175 sons ^H1121 brought ^H4672 the blood ^H1818 to him, and he sprinkled ^H2236 it around ^H5439 on the altar ^H4196. 19 As for the portions ^H2459 of fat ^H2459 from the ox ^H7794 and from the ram ^H352, the fat ^H451 tail ^H451, the fat covering ^H4374, the kidneys ^H3629, and the [fn]lobe ^H3508 of the liver ^H3516, 20 they now placed ^H7760 the portions ^H2459 of fat ^H2459 on the breasts ^H2373; and he offered ^H6999 [fn]them up ^H6999 in ^H6999 smoke ^H6999 on the altar ^H4196. 21 But the breasts ^H2373 and the right ^H3225 thigh ^H7785 Aaron ^H175 [fn]presented ^H5130 as a wave ^H8573 offering ^H8573 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068, just ^H834 as ^H834 Moses ^H4872 had commanded ^H6680.

22 Then Aaron ^H175 lifted ^H5375 up ^H5375 his hands ^H3027 toward ^H413 the people ^H5971 and blessed ^H1288 them, and he stepped ^H3381 down ^H3381 after making ^H6213 the sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403, the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930, and the peace ^H8002 offerings ^H8002. 23 And Moses ^H4872 and Aaron ^H175 went ^H935 into the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150. When they came ^H3318 out ^H3318 and blessed ^H1288 the people ^H5971, the glory ^H3519 of the LORD ^H3068 appeared ^H7200 to all ^H3605 the people ^H5971. 24 Then fire ^H784 went ^H3318 out ^H3318 from the LORD ^H3068 and consumed ^H398 the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 and the portions ^H2459 of fat ^H2459 on the altar ^H4196; and when all ^H3605 the people ^H5971 saw ^H7200 it, they shouted ^H7442 and fell ^H5307 [fn]face ^H6440 downward.
