Cleansing Unhealthiness

1 The LORD ^H3068 also spoke ^H1696 to Moses ^H4872 and to Aaron ^H175, saying ^H559,

2 “Speak ^H1696 to the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478, and say ^H559 to them, ‘When ^H3588 any ^H376 man ^H376 has ^H1961 a discharge ^H2100 from his [fn]body ^H1320, [fn]his discharge ^H2101 is unclean ^H2931. 3 This ^H2088, moreover, shall be his uncleanness ^H2932 in his discharge ^H2101: it is his uncleanness ^H2932 whether his body ^H1320 allows its discharge ^H2101 to flow ^H7325 or ^H176 whether his body ^H1320 obstructs ^H2856 its discharge ^H2101. 4 Every ^H3605 bed ^H4904 on which ^H834 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 lies ^H7901 becomes ^H2930 unclean ^H2930, and everything ^H3605 H3627 on which ^H834 he sits ^H3427 becomes ^H2930 unclean ^H2930. 5 Anyone ^H376, moreover, who ^H834 touches ^H5060 his bed ^H4904 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153; 6 and whoever sits ^H3427 on the thing ^H3627 on which ^H834 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 has been sitting ^H3427, shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 7 Also whoever touches ^H5060 the [fn]man ^H1320 with the discharge ^H2100 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 8 Or if ^H3588 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 spits ^H7556 on one who is clean ^H2889, he too shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 9 Every ^H3605 saddle ^H4817 on which ^H834 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 rides ^H7392 becomes ^H2930 unclean ^H2930. 10 Whoever ^H3605 then touches ^H5060 any ^H3605 of the things which ^H834 were under ^H8478 him shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153, and the one who carries ^H5375 them shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 11 Likewise, whomever ^H3605 H834 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 touches ^H5060 without ^H3808 having rinsed ^H7857 his hands ^H3027 in water ^H4325 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 12 However, an earthenware ^H2789 vessel ^H3627 which ^H834 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 touches ^H5060 shall be broken ^H7665, and every ^H3605 wooden ^H6086 vessel ^H3627 shall be rinsed ^H7857 in water ^H4325.

13 ‘Now when ^H3588 the man ^H2100 with the discharge ^H2100 becomes ^H2891 cleansed ^H2891 from his discharge ^H2101, then he shall count ^H5608 off for himself seven ^H7651 days ^H3117 for his cleansing ^H2893; he shall then wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 his body ^H1320 in [fn]running ^H2416 water ^H4325 and will become ^H2891 clean ^H2891. 14 Then on the eighth ^H8066 day ^H3117 he shall take ^H3947 for himself two ^H8147 turtledoves ^H8449 or ^H176 two ^H8147 young ^H1121 doves ^H3123, and come ^H935 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 to the doorway ^H6607 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 and give ^H5414 them to the priest ^H3548; 15 and the priest ^H3548 shall offer ^H6213 them, one ^H259 as a [fn]sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403 and the other ^H259 as a burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930. So the priest ^H3548 shall make ^H3722 atonement ^H3722 on ^H5921 his behalf ^H5921 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 because ^H4480 of his discharge ^H2101.

16 ‘Now if ^H3588 a [fn]man ^H376 has ^H3318 a seminal ^H2233 emission ^H3318 H7902, he shall bathe ^H7364 all ^H3605 his body ^H1320 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 17 As for any ^H3605 garment ^H899 or any ^H3605 leather ^H5785 on which ^H834 there is a seminal ^H2233 emission ^H7902, it shall be washed ^H3526 with water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 18 If a man ^H376 sleeps ^H7901 with a woman ^H802 so that there is a seminal ^H2233 emission ^H7902, they shall both bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153.

19 ‘When ^H3588 a woman ^H802 has ^H1961 a discharge ^H2100, if her discharge ^H2101 in her body ^H1320 is blood ^H1818, she shall continue ^H1961 in her menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079 for seven ^H7651 days ^H3117; and whoever ^H3605 touches ^H5060 her shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 20 Everything ^H3605 also on which ^H834 she lies ^H7901 during her menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079 shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930, and everything ^H3605 on which ^H834 she sits ^H3427 shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930. 21 Anyone ^H3605 who touches ^H5060 her bed ^H4904 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 22 Whoever ^H3605 touches ^H5060 any ^H3605 object ^H3627 on which ^H834 she sits ^H3427 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 23 Whether ^H518 it be on the bed ^H4904 or ^H176 on the thing ^H3627 on which ^H834 she is sitting ^H3427, when he touches ^H5060 it, he shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 24 If ^H518 a man ^H376 actually ^H7901 sleeps ^H7901 with her so that her menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079 is on him, he shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 seven ^H7651 days ^H3117, and every ^H3605 bed ^H4904 on which ^H834 he lies ^H7901 shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930.

25 ‘Now if ^H3588 a woman ^H802 has ^H2100 a discharge ^H2101 of her blood ^H1818 for many ^H7227 days ^H3117, not at the period ^H6256 of her menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079, or ^H176 if ^H3588 she has ^H2100 a discharge ^H2100 beyond ^H5921 [fn]that period ^H5079, for all ^H3605 the days ^H3117 of her impure ^H2932 discharge ^H2101 she shall continue ^H1961 as though [fn]in her menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079; she is unclean ^H2931. 26 Any ^H3605 bed ^H4904 on which ^H834 she lies ^H7901 all ^H3605 the days ^H3117 of her discharge ^H2101 shall be to her like [fn]her bed ^H4904 at menstruation ^H5079; and every ^H3605 object ^H3627 on which ^H834 she sits ^H3427 shall be unclean ^H2931, like [fn]her uncleanness ^H2932 at that time ^H5079. 27 Likewise, whoever ^H3605 touches ^H5060 them shall be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930, and shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 and bathe ^H7364 in water ^H4325 and be ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 until ^H5704 evening ^H6153. 28 When ^H518 she becomes ^H2891 clean ^H2891 from her discharge ^H2101, she shall count ^H5608 off for herself seven ^H7651 days ^H3117; and afterward ^H310 she will be ^H2891 clean ^H2891. 29 Then on the eighth ^H8066 day ^H3117 she shall take ^H3947 for herself two ^H8147 turtledoves ^H8449 or ^H176 two ^H8147 young ^H1121 doves ^H3123, and bring ^H935 them to the priest ^H3548, to the doorway ^H6607 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150. 30 And the priest ^H3548 shall offer ^H6213 the one ^H259 as a [fn]sin ^H2403 offering ^H2403, and the other ^H259 as a burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930. So the priest ^H3548 shall make ^H3722 atonement ^H3722 on ^H5921 her behalf ^H5921 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 because ^H4480 of her impure ^H2932 discharge ^H2101.’

31 “And so you shall keep ^H5144 the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 separated ^H5144 from their uncleanness ^H2932, so that they will not die ^H4191 in their uncleanness ^H2932 by their defiling ^H2930 My [fn]tabernacle ^H4908 that is among ^H8432 them.” 32 This ^H2088 is the law ^H8451 for the one with a discharge ^H2100, and for the man [fn]who ^H834 has ^H3318 a seminal ^H2233 emission ^H3318 H7902 so that he is ^H2930 unclean ^H2930 by it, 33 and for the woman ^H1739 who is ill ^H1739 because of menstrual ^H5079 impurity ^H5079, and for the one who has ^H2100 a discharge ^H2101, whether a male ^H2145 or a female ^H5347, or a man ^H376 who ^H834 sleeps ^H7901 with an unclean ^H2931 woman ^H2931.
