God Speaks of Nature and Its Beings

1 “Do you know ^H3045 the time ^H6256 the [fn]mountain ^H3277 H5553 goats ^H3277 give ^H3205 birth ^H3205?

Do you observe ^H8104 the calving ^H2342 of the deer ^H355?

2 “Can you count ^H5608 the months ^H3391 they fulfill ^H4390,

Or do you know ^H3045 the time ^H6256 they give ^H3205 birth ^H3205?

3 “They kneel ^H3766 down ^H3766, they deliver ^H6398 their young ^H3206,

They get ^H7971 rid ^H7971 of their labor ^H2256 pains ^H2256.

4 “Their offspring ^H1121 become ^H2492 strong ^H2492, they grow ^H7235 up ^H7235 in the open ^H1250 field ^H1250;

They leave ^H3318 and do not return ^H7725 to them.

5 “Who ^H4310 sent ^H7971 the wild ^H6501 donkey ^H6501 out ^H7971 free ^H2670?

And who ^H4310 opened ^H6605 the bonds ^H4147 of the swift ^H6171 donkey ^H6171,

7 “He laughs ^H7832 at the turmoil ^H1995 of the city ^H7151,

He does not hear ^H8085 the shouting ^H8663 of the taskmaster ^H5065.

8 “He explores ^H8446 the mountains ^H2022 of his pasture ^H4829,

And searches ^H1875 after ^H310 every ^H3605 green ^H3387 thing ^H3387.

9 “Will the wild ^H7214 bull ^H7214 be ^H14 willing ^H14 to serve ^H5647 you,

Or ^H518 will he spend ^H3885 the ^H3885 night ^H3885 at your feeding ^H18 trough ^H18?

10 “Can you tie ^H7194 down ^H7194 the wild ^H7214 bull ^H7214 in a furrow ^H8525 with [fn]ropes ^H5688,

Or ^H518 will he [fn]plow ^H7702 the valleys ^H6010 after ^H310 you?

11 “Will you trust ^H539 him because ^H3588 his strength ^H3581 is great ^H7227,

17 Because ^H3588 God ^H433 has made her forget ^H5382 wisdom ^H2451,

And has not given ^H2505 her a ^H2505 share ^H2505 of understanding ^H998.

She laughs ^H7832 at the horse ^H5483 and his rider ^H7392.

19 “Do you give ^H5414 the horse ^H5483 his might ^H1369?

Do you clothe ^H3847 his neck ^H6677 with a mane ^H7483?

20 “Do you make him leap ^H7493 like locusts ^H697?

25 “As often ^H1767 as the trumpet ^H7782 sounds he says ^H559, ‘Aha ^H1889!’

28 “He dwells ^H7931 and spends ^H3885 his nights ^H3885 on the cliff ^H5553,

On the rocky ^H5553 cliff ^H8127, an inaccessible ^H4686 place ^H4686.

29 “From there ^H8033 he tracks ^H2658 food ^H400;

His eyes ^H5869 look ^H5027 at it from afar ^H7350.
