“Behold ^H2009, Damascus ^H1834 is about to be removed ^H5493 from being a city ^H5892

And will become ^H1961 a fallen ^H4654 ruin ^H4596.

“The cities ^H5892 [fn]of Aroer ^H6177 are abandoned ^H5800;

They will be for herds ^H5739 [fn]to lie ^H7257 down ^H7257 in,

And there ^H369 will ^H369 be ^H369 no ^H369 one ^H369 to frighten ^H2729 them.

“The [fn]fortified ^H4013 city ^H4013 will disappear ^H7673 from Ephraim ^H669,

And [fn]sovereignty ^H4467 from Damascus ^H1834

And the remnant ^H7605 of Aram ^H758;

They will be like the glory ^H3519 of the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478,”

Declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068 of armies ^H6635.

Now on that day ^H3117 the glory ^H3519 of Jacob ^H3290 will [fn]fade ^H1809,

And [fn]the land will be a desolation ^H8077.

For you have forgotten ^H7911 the God ^H430 of your salvation ^H3468

Therefore ^H5921 H3651 you plant ^H5193 delightful ^H5282 plants ^H5194

And set ^H2232 them with vine ^H2156 shoots ^H2156 of a strange ^H2114 god.
