“This is how you are to make it: The ark will be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.[fn]

“You are to make the courtyard for the tabernacle. Make hangings for the south side of the courtyard out of finely spun linen, 150 feet[fn] long on that side

“For the width of the courtyard, make hangings 75 feet[fn] long for the west side, including their ten posts and their ten bases.

“The gate of the courtyard is to have a 30-foot[fn] screen embroidered[fn] with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen. It is to have four posts and their four bases.

“The courtyard is to be 150 feet long, 75 feet wide at each end, and 7 ¹/₂ feet high,[fn] all of it made of finely spun linen. The bases of the posts are to be bronze.

“It must be square, eighteen inches long and eighteen inches wide;[fn] it must be thirty-six inches high.[fn] Its horns must be of one piece with it.

Bezalel constructed the altar of burnt offering from acacia wood. It was square, 7 ¹/₂ feet long and 7 ¹/₂ feet wide,[fn] and was 4 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high.

Then he made the courtyard. The hangings on the south side of the courtyard were of finely spun linen, 150 feet[fn] long,

The hangings on the north side were also 150 feet long, including their twenty posts and twenty bronze bases. The hooks and bands of the posts were silver.

The screen for the gate of the courtyard was made of finely spun linen, expertly embroidered[fn] with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. It was 30 feet[fn] long, and like the hangings of the courtyard, 7 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high.[fn]

A wind sent by the LORD came up and blew quail in from the sea; it dropped them all around the camp. They were flying three feet[fn] off[fn] the ground for about a day’s journey in every direction.

“The pasturelands of the cities you are to give the Levites will extend from the city wall five hundred yards[fn] on every side.

“(Only King Og of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim. His bed[fn] was made of iron. Isn’t it in Rabbah of the Ammonites? It is 13 ¹/₂ feet long and 6 feet wide by a standard measure.[fn])

Then a champion named Goliath, from Gath, came out from the Philistine camp. He was nine feet, nine inches[fn][fn] tall

The temple that King Solomon built for the LORD was ninety feet[fn] long, thirty feet[fn] wide, and forty-five feet[fn] high.

The lowest chamber was 7 ¹/₂ feet[fn] wide, the middle was 9 feet[fn] wide, and the third was 10 ¹/₂ feet[fn] wide. He also provided offset ledges for the temple all around the outside so that nothing would be inserted into the temple walls.

He built the chambers along the entire temple, joined to the temple with cedar beams; each story was 7 ¹/₂ feet high.

Then he lined thirty feet of the rear of the temple with cedar boards from the floor to the surface of the ceiling,[fn] and he built the interior as an inner sanctuary, the most holy place.

The interior of the sanctuary was thirty feet long, thirty feet wide, and thirty feet high; he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid the cedar altar.

In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim 15 feet[fn] high out of olive wood.
