Hymns Supplied Through the Gracious Generosity
of the Cyber Hymnal Website
Words: James Freeman Clarke, Hymn Book for the Church of the Disciples, 1844.
Music: "St. Andrew," Joseph Barnby (1838-1896) |
To Thee, O God in Heaven,
This little one we bring;
Giving to Thee what Thou hast giv'n,
Our dearest offering.
Into a world of toil
These little feet will roam,
Where sin its purity may soil,
Where care and grief may come.
Oh, let Thy Word of Love,
With influence serene,
Come down, like water, from above,
To comfort and make clean!
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
