Draper was educated at Keble College, Oxford (B.A. in honors, M.A. 1880). He was ordained in 1880, and was curate of St. Mary’s, Shrewsbury; vicar of Alfreton; of the Abbey Church, Shrewsbury; rector of Adel, Yorkshire (1899-1919). His works include:
