Ozora Davis graduated from Dartmouth College, then earned his Ph.D. in Leipzig, Germany, on a fellowship from Hartford Theological Seminary. He pastored in Springfield, Vermont; Newtonville, Massachusetts; and New Britain, Connecticut. From 1909-1929, he was president of Chicago Theological Seminary.
