1.5 THE SOLUTION
2.1 The new law: the law of life lived in the power of the Spirit
2.2 The impossible requirements of the law are met by walking in the Spirit
2.3 Our mindset is on the things of the Spirit rather than the striving of the flesh
2.4 The same Spirit who gave resurrection life to Christ will give life to us
2.5 Therefore, our obligation is not to keeping the law in the flesh, but to the promptings of the Spirit
2.6 Our hope is that present sufferings will give way to future glory
2.7 In the meantime the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us
25 I thank Godthrough Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. 8 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (NKJV)
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
