"THE REASON WHY."
I. WHY DO I EXIST?
A. A basic question of the philosophers.
B. No real question for evolutionists.
1. I exist by accident, rather a long series of fortuitous occurrences of accidental circumstances.
2. If I am the product of chance, no real reason for existing.
3. The teaching of evolution as an accepted fact of science to the children and is one of the greatest contributors to the widespread use of drugs and alcohol among our teens and pre-teens.

C. The question only exists for the rational man who looks beyond creation to the Creator.
1. If God created me, He must have had a reason for doing so.
II. WE WATCH MAN SEARCH FOR FULFILLMENT.
A. The very search testifies of an emptiness.
1. Man seems to have an itch he can't scratch.
2. A thirst he can't satisfy.
3. The consciousness that there must be more to life.
4. Solomon cried out, "Emptiness, emptiness, life is empty and frustrating."
B. He searches in vain for he searches in things where it cannot be found.
1. Drunk, searching for bus token.
2. Fulfillment in success.
3. Fulfillment in riches.
4. Fulfillment in education.
5. Fame.
6. Pleasure.
a. Half of the people who watch Superbowl today will be upset and disappointed when it is over.
III. ANSWER TO LIFE FOUND IN TEXT.
A. God created everything.
B. God created everything for His own pleasure.
1. You cry, "That's not fair."
a. Why?
b. Hasn't the Potter power over the clay to...
c. The clay can't yell, "Stop that. I don't want to be a flower pot, I want to be a plate."
d. Imperfect analogy for God endowed us with a free choice.
e. I can say to the Potter, "I refuse to be what you want to make of me."
2. You say, "I don't appreciate that."
a. That's tough. That's the way it is, you can't change that.
b. You can fight it.
1. The prophet said, "Woe to him who strives with his maker."
2. Life will be filled with woe.
3. Life will end in frustration.
4. You can fight but you can't win.
3. You can accept it and live by it.
a. "I will live for God's pleasure."
1. Life will take on new meaning.
2. An infinite dimension.
