I. IT SAID TO ANYONE ELSE WOULDN'T MEAN SO MUCH.
A. Thief on cross.
B. Zacheus - Mary Magdalene.
II. WHAT IS A NEW BIRTH?
A. Not a physical birth.
B. "Educational."
C. Not church membership.
D. A divine change.
1. Pig cleaned up (physical change).
2. God has to do it from inside out.
a. "By grace are ye saved."
b. "With man impossible."
E. A complete change.
1. Drunk Victory over.
2. Gambler Power to quit.
III. WHY NECESSARY?
A. Our nature requires it.
1. Born in sin.
2. Heart wicked.
B. God's nature requires.
1. Holiness.
C. Work of Christ on cross requires it.
2. Shows no other way "if it be possible."
D. God's word requires it.
IV. WHAT WILL IT DO?
A. Take care of the past.
B. Take care of the present.
C. Take care of the future.
V. HOW CAN A MAN BE BORN AGAIN?
"YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!"
I. DEFINITE COMMAND.
A. Nicodemus "Pharisee" "Ruler."
II. WHY?
A. Man's human nature sinful.
B. God cannot look on sin.
III. WHO MUST BE BORN AGAIN?
A. Everyone who hopes for eternal life.
1. I belong to the church.
2. I pay my tithes.
3. I read my Bible.
4. I have been baptized.
B. Christ said, "I am the way..."
IV. HOW?
A. Any man who is in Christ, new creature.
1. Caterpillar.
B. Old things passed away.
1. Gambler.
2. Drunkard.
C. John 3:16.
