1. Nature is never the final voice.

1. Samuel.
2. Christ baptism - transfiguration.
3. To Paul on Damascus road.

1. Daniel.
2. Zacharias - Mary.
3. Peter in prison.
4. Paul on ship in storm.

1. Danger of seeking spiritual interpretation to every dream.
E. He speaks through His prophets.
1. Gift of prophesy in church today.
F. He speaks through His Word.
G. He speaks by His Spirit to your spirit.
1. "He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith..."
2. "For the Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the Sons of God."
3. Elijah - the fire - wind - earthquake - still, small voice.
4. The naturalness of this way - Peter, Jeremiah.
a. The need of discernment - is it God's Spirit or my spirit?
1. God will never say anything contrary to His Word - "though I or an angel from heaven..."
2. God will confirm His Word - (Jermiah. "Then I knew that this..."
II. HOW TO HEAR OR RECOGNIZE GOD'S VOICE.
A. You need a quiet time and place.
1. Start with His Word.
a. Ask God to speak to you.
b. Then listen.
c. When He brings a scripture to you and makes it live, thank Him - worship.
B. God is speaking - the problem is, we're not listening.
