DEUTERONOMY 1:33

THE cloud was the symbol of the Lord’s presence, and it was the secret of Israel’s protection. Sometimes the cloud was over them; sometimes behind them; and sometimes before them. Thus the Lord was over them to shield; behind them to defend; and before them to lead. So He is with us (Psalm 84:11; Psalm 91:4, 10; John 10:4). The Lord’s presence is the-
