GAL. 5:22-23

  1. Love is the source of obedience. “If a man love Me, he will keep My words" (John 14:23).
  2. Joy is the flower of holiness. “Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" (Rom. 14:17).
  3. Peace is the outcome of trustfulness. “Be careful for nothing…and the peace of God" (Phil. 4:6-7).
  4. Long-Suffering is the wife of patience. “With long-suffering, forbearing one another in love" (Eph. 4:2).
  5. Gentleness is the daughter of love. “Gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men" (Titus 3:2).
  6. Goodness is the activity of grace. “To do good and to communicate forget not" (Heb. 13:16).
  7. Faith is the faithfulness of courage. “This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4).
  8. Meekness is the lesson learned from Christ. “Learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly" (Matt. 11:29).
  9. Temperance is the mastery of faith. “Add to faith.….temperance" (2 Peter 1:5-6).
