THE Servant-the Son of God. All God’s servants are sons, and all God’s sons are servants.

  1. Wise Servant. “The people were astonished at His doctrine” (Matt. 7:28).
  2. Obedient Servant. “I delight to do Thy will, O My God” (Psalm 40:8).
  3. Suffering Servant. “Now is My soul troubled” (John 12:27).
  4. Confident Servant. “The word.….not Mine, but the Father’s which sent Me” (John 14:24; 16:32).
  5. Persevering Servant. “He stedfastly set His face” (Luke 9:51).
  6. Accepted Servant. “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you” (John 16:23).
  7. Victorious Servant. “I have glorified Thee on the earth; I have finished the work” (John 17:4).
