WE often see such notices as these:― “Beware of the Dog,” or “Beware of Pickpockets;” but there is one we never see, and that is, “Beware of Self.” “Let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall.” We read recently of the author of a book on the “Dangers of Alpine Climbing, with Practical Advice to Tourists,” having himself lost his life while ascending a mountain. Beware, worker, lest you should fall into the things that you warn others against.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
