      1. Definition – The effective exercise of His will by which things determined by Him are accomplished
      2. Fact – Eph 1:4, 11; Act 13:4
      3. Predestined for conformation to the image of Christ
   3. God’s Call
      1. The call is effective summons of elect to salvation – Jhn 6:37
      2. The call is an eternal persistence of our Sovereign God
      3. The effectual calling is necessary because of the condition of man in total depravity – Eph 1:1-3; Rom 3:9-20

   4. Justification
      1. The means – Rom 3:24; 4:5
      2. The meaning – The act of God by which He declares righteous those who believe in Christ

         1. The atonement is perfect
         2. The resurrection is proof
