Explanations on Citations within the Work.

There are two differents ways in which the author cited his work.

Footnotes:

The first is through the use of footnotes. The footnote designation was superscripted in the original text and the corresponding footnote was found in the outside margin. See the example below:


We adapted these footnotes to appear at the end of each chapter with a hyperlink going back and forth between the footnote reference and the footnote proper.

Braces:

The second way in which Sir Isaac Newton cited his work is through the use of notation located similarly in the outer margin; however, these do not use any identification to denote exactly where the reference should be placed. See the example below:


Since these could not be put into endnotes we placed them in braces { } and included them in the text. See the example below.
