Note: The same pronouns as those under WHO are used for the above, often with the addition of the particle an and a change of construction when a generalization is expressed. Some texts in Mar 15:6 have hosper, a strengthened form of hos, AV, "whomsoever." For sentences introduced by the conjunction ei or ean, "if," see see †, p. 9.
