That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Our salvation is of the simplest conception. God, before the foundations of the very world He created, decided that He would give a sufficient measure of grace unto all His childrena measure sufficient for faith. And so, He saves those who exercise that gift of faith. When we confess and believe in the gospel of the risen Christ, we offer evidence that indeed, we are the chosen sons of Abrahamwe are the very children of the Lord Most High!
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
